THIS ALBUM REACHED GOLD STATUS IN NZ IN 2003.    REVIEW  "Jules Riding, responsible for a collection of good quality M.O.R. folksy and worship-related albums, now turns his hand to music for kids. The end result is a superb Christian kids release that is definitely in the Kiwi lifestyle. Ishmael does this for the UK; now here is Jules Riding doing the same for God's own. I, myself, am not really one for this kind of release, my only fave of children's music has always been Ishmael. One listen to Jules and I must say, I was sold. Infectious music to have fun with. This kind of project may not be everyone's choice, but for those that enjoy good bouncy boogie music with children's focus and up front vocals, you'll be at home with this one. From the kick off, the music stamp is pure Kiwi and the slant, sing along style chorus with great musical back up, the rock'n'roll flavoured honky tonk piano, violin, accordion and banjo to list but a few, gives this collection real zest. Songs like 'Gonna Snap, Snap, Snap' and 'I Just Wanna Be A Sheep' will become firm favourites in kid's church all around the country, just give them a chance. Open up the ears to the brilliant 'Bananas for the Lord' set to the tune of a famous American anthem, complete with classic fiddle from Colleen Trenwith, whose husband is also on board with the banjo. I know kids will love this, and I also know many grown adult kids who will love it too. Great foot tappin, barn dance flavoured, good time music, such a treat for kids of all ages."   - Challenge Newspaper Oct '97,  John 'the Fox' Brotchie
